The Education Department is responsible for the supervision, coordination, promotion and quality control of the global Seventh-day Adventist educational system. This includes 5,800 schools, colleges and universities, with 54,000 teachers and almost one million students in 100 countries.
The primary aim of Seventh-day Adventist education is to provide opportunity for students to accept Christ as their Savior, to allow the Holy Spirit to transform their lives, and to fulfill the commission of preaching the gospel to all the world.
