Mission Statement

Theme:
Sister-to-Sister, Striving Side-By-Side, in the Pursuit of Holiness
 
Our purpose: Women’s Ministry at Kingsboro Temple is to unite all females to help build up the Kingdom of God.   As we stand upon the threshold of the return of our Lord and King, we must prepare not only ourselves, but we must pave the way for our younger sisters; they are the fruit of our living example.  We not only worship side-by-side, but we walk and grow together side-by-side in our quest for Holiness. 

Our goal: To strive to become more like Christ.  To complete this task, we must recognize that we (adults and youth alike) are Disciples’ of God.  God’s plan for our lives was set before birth. Therefore our training begins at birth; it doesn’t arrive when we reach adulthood.   When we learn to focus only upon the “Jesus” that dwells in us and not our age differences or circumstances, then separatism will end and unity among us will begin. 

The sisters of Kingsboro Temple will recommit to serve with compassion, love, friendship, and unity; continue to pray, study the “Word”, reach out to our fellow sisters inside as well as outside of the Kingsboro fellowship, witnessing that God is love
