Mission Statement
In good faith, we endeavor to be responsive to the needs and concerns of one-parent household families and to acknowledge, encourage and provide a buttress for their efforts.

Background

One-parent household families are part of a continuum.  Some of us were raised in a one-parent household.  Some of us, once the symbol of the nuclear family - where both father and mother are in the home, have been affected by loss of a parent through separation, abandonment, divorce or death.  Some of us will become one-parent household families and then again, some of us may move on to re-establish a two parent household, becoming what is called the blended family.  For all situations, this ministry serves to offer support to all families, particularly one- parent household families.

God calls on us to love one another, minister to one another, serve one another and edify each other with compassion. “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13; 35”.  Our desire is that the God of peace, who makes us complete in every good work to do His will, will work in us what is pleasing in His sight (adopted from Hebrews 13:20, 21).
